Elementals Card game
Guide to playing Elementals
In the game Elementals, there are different types of cards to use:
Monster cards- monster cards are used to attack other players and to defend yourself from attacks. You may play only one monster per turn, unless a card allows you to play more.
Each monster card has Attack and block. Attack is used when you attack your opponent.
Block is used to block an opponent’s monsters attack.
When a creature blocks another creature, it receives damage equal to that creatures attack.
A creature with less speed can't block a creature of higher speed unless an ability allows it to.
A monster may attack the turn it comes into play.
Each monster may attack one per turn on your turn unless it is prevented.
If a creature attacked during your turn, it may not block on your opponent's turn unless an effect allows it to.
Arcane cards- Arcane cards can be used for many different tasks. Arcane cards can prove to be very helpful. Arcane cards may be activated on your turn. Burst cards may be activated from your hand.
Burst cards- Burst cards are cards used in quick-play situations such as when your opponent attacks. Striker cards may be activated on either players turn from your hand.
Environment Cards- Environments are useful to you as a player. You may have any number of environments on you side of play.
Relic Cards[/b]- Relic cards can prove to be very useful. Relics can be used to power up creatures, or help you during the game. When a relic comes into play, it stays on your playing zone until an effect removes it.
Each card has a cost on the right side of the card underneath the card's art. This cost is in counters, and counters can be of the different Elements.

Step 3 (Battle Step) You may attack once with each monster on your playing zone unless a card affect prevents it. You may now set your attackers for this turn, and set aside your potential blockers for next turn. A monster can not attack and block.
Step 4: You may activate a Arcane, Relic or environment card. Some Burst cards may be useful at this time.
