Journeys of Fate is based on the idea of completing Journeys to obtain a win.
Sure, you can win by combat, but you will need a Journey to back you up.
Now then, lets give some basic ideas:
- The most important card in your deck is Journeys. You will start with one of these in play (choose wisely)
-The next most important card is your General. Factions are formed, and your general will decide your alignment(and a lot of your strategy). A general will start out in play as well.
- Allies are also important. You will have an Allie pool of 15 to 25 cards, which will be based partially on your alignment. Certain factions enjoy certain types of wins.
- The next card type is your fate cards. Your fate pool will consist of 15 to 25 cards, and will have two types of cards:
Action- Your offense
Response- Your defense and counter
-Your deck totals will consist of
-1 General
- A Journey deck of 15 cards
- A Fate Pool of 15 to 25 cards
- An Allie Pool of 15 to 25 cards
Your card total for all your decks (not including general) should be 60 cards.
You may play up to 3 copies of any given card.
The turn bases is as follows:
-Each player chooses a General, and a starting journey.
-Each player starts with 10 survival points
- During each player's turn, that player may search his/her Allie pool for a card, or draw from his/her fate pool.
- This card may be added to that player's hand, or put into play if possible.
- One Allie may be played per turn unless otherwise stated.
How to deal Survival Point Damage:
Some action cards allow your Allies to attack the opponent. For each successful direct hit from an Allie, that player receives 1 SP damage. If a player reaches 0, he/she loses the game.
Journeys:
If a player completes 5 Journeys, he/she wins the game.
